This Maboneng restaurant is more of an African stylish diner with  electric decor and a performance stage. The Pata Pata restaurant menu is filled with a variety of delicious African Cuisine inspired meals but if you’re more of a simplistic person you can have a delicious burger, wrap or salad.

I had a look at the reviews of this restaurant and found that their food is very delicious for most of the clients who shared the experience they had at Pata Pata. The menu itself looks very intriguing, also very reasonable when it comes to pricing. If you would like to indulge in some Pata Pata cuisine, you would spend approximately  R250.00 for two people.

Pata Pata is located right in the heart of Maboneng Precinct, adding to the variant and sophisticated lifestyle of the downtown Johannesburg city. The environment itself is filled with vintage buildings that are turned into new and more modern developments but still keeping that 1960’s feel.

Pata Pata has definitely also kept the 1960’s feel with some modern touchings, the decor is quite a “rusty” interior which gives the room a cozy atmosphere. On Mondays you can unwind to some live Jazz music  while you enjoy your meal.

This African diner surely expresses the culture we have in Johannesburg. It’s made to blend in with the funky culture that is celebrated in the City of Johannesburg, so its easy to say that Pata Pata is a place you have to visit!
